South Charlotte Office
Welcome! My name is Morgan Chick and I have a passion for working with adults and adolescents dealing with a variety of life’s obstacles. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, worry, mood issues, work stress, trauma, lack of motivation, addiction, not feeling confident, grief, your weight, gender identity, OCD, teen issues, parenting, or finding a better career, I will provide a comfortable, non-judgmental atmosphere for us to work through your struggles together. You are not alone in any issue you bring to the session and things CAN get better.
I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Guilford College and my Master’s in Social Work from Barry University. I have years of experience working with persons with developmental delay, chronic and persistent mental illness, medical issues, and with clients in both out-patient and in-patient settings.
With training in solution-focused, cognitive behavioral and mindfulness techniques, I will support and assist you in finding solutions in a confidential setting. Asking for help can be a tough thing, but with the foundation of a trusting therapeutic relationship, change is possible. I believe in meeting the client where they are at in life and building on strengths to influence change. I am a flexible and open-minded person that understands the impact mental wellness can have on one’s life. In my opinion, happiness is the most important ingredient in the recipe of life- I look forward to helping you reach your desired level of change, growth and happiness in the life you want to live.
